Manage people under Administration → Users. The page is titled Members and is open to owners and admins. To invite someone, see Invite your team.

  • Records they own means records assigned to them or created by them. For companies it also includes companies they watch.
  • Owner is an admin who also owns the company and its billing. You become the owner when you create a company. There can be more than one, and a company always keeps at least one.
  • Managers also approve quotes under Sales → Approvals, approve case studies, and are the only people besides admins who can change who owns a company when account protection is on.
  • Salefy shows the Administration menu only to owners and admins. A manager or user who opens an admin page is sent back to the dashboard.

Roles work the same on every plan.

Change a role

Go to Administration → Users and find the person in the table.

Open the row menu (Open menu) and choose Set Role, then Admin, Manager or User. You see "User role changed to" followed by the new role.

The person is signed out of this company and comes back with the new role the next time they open it.

Some changes are refused:

  • You can't change your own role: "You can't change your own membership".
  • Only an owner can change an owner: "Only an owner can change an owner".
  • The company needs at least one owner: "A company needs at least one owner".
  • Set Role never makes someone an owner.

Remove a person

Open the row menu, choose Remove from company and confirm. You see "User has been removed from the company".

The person is signed out of this company, and their mailbox and calendar sync for this company stops. Their account stays, and so do the records they created. Removing someone frees a seat.

Send a message to everyone

Click Send mail to all, enter a Message title and a Message, and click Send. Every active user gets the email. You see "Mail sent successfully".

Seats

The number of people you can have depends on the plan: 3 on Starter, 10 on Team and 25 on Business. Members and pending invitations both count. See Billing to change plan.
